It's a good place to go have fun.
Of course you should be careful anywhere you go. But I for sure wouldn't let kids go THERE alone. And unfortunately EVEN some of the kids you need to be wary of.

It never fails every time I pass by it I can't help but look at it.
Years ago, it was a very nice little park. Originally it had a swimming pool and several rides for kids. The pool was deep sixed about 1985, and like the surrounding neighborhood, has been in significant decline ever since.
Seriously, it seems fairly well maintained and well policed.
